Cornell International City-County Management Association
The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) is a global organization dedicated to promoting excellence in local government. Founded in 1914, the ICMA provides its members with publications, data, and professional development opportunities. Cornell’s ICMA Student Chapter was established in 2011. It seeks to introduce and integrate students with various positions in local government as well as establish connections between local government management theories and practices through tangible, real-world examples. Cornell’s chapter of the ICMA provides interested students with networking events, guest speakers, internship opportunities and more.
