On Monday, September 24, CIPA will host a roundtable lunch discussion with Ronald Rigores, Market Planning Manager at LexisNexis and former CIPA Professional-in-Residence.
Ronald Rigores earned his Bachelor of Science, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, from Cornell University in 1999 and has since been an active alumnus, working with faculty and administration, participating in the CIPA Colloquia series and regularly speaking on public policy and technology. He has an extensive background in government and technology. Currently, he serves as the Market Planner of Human and Social Services at Risk Solutions, a division at LexisNexis. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the nation's premier source of data and provider of identity management and decision-making solutions to the government. Through the identification, retrieval, storage, analysis and delivery of data, LexisNexis serves the informational needs of the federal and state and local government agencies.
In the Market Planning role, Rigores is responsible for the development and implementing market strategies for the human and social services sector, which includes research and analysis of key factors in the human and social services sector, assessment and recommends near and long term strategic objectives, ongoing analysis of the market to identify new opportunities for LexisNexis. Prior to joining LexisNexis, Rigores was the IT Program Manager and direct report to the CIO of the New York City Housing Authority where he was responsible for managing a multi-million dollar IT portfolio.
