	<title>John Mathiason to Serve on Advisory Panel for London-based European Bank</title>
	<description>John Mathiason, Visiting Lecturer at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA), has been appointed to the External Advisory Panel of Experts for the Evaluation Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headquartered in London.  The Evaluation Department (EvD) is responsible for reviewing Bank operations. EvD evaluates Bank projects and policies, establishing how well they meet their objectives and the extent to which they comply with the Bank?s mandate.  As a member of the panel he will participate in quality assessments of the evaluations undertaken by the Bank.  
Dr. Mathiason teaches a graduate course on the evaluation of international programs and projects at Cornell and is the managing director of a consulting firm, Associates for International Management Services that provides advisory services to international organizations.</description>
