Visit Us
We would love to have you visit us. We have told you how flexible the MPA program is, how diverse and engaging our Fellows are, and how many opportunities exist for you to gain real-world experience here. Now, find out for yourself!
Attend the Spring Open House
We host an Open House for MPA applicants each spring. This year it is scheduled for Friday, April 5. For more information, please click here.
During the Open House, we will offer a comprehensive overview of the MPA program and introduce you to CIPA faculty and staff. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet with current CIPA Fellows who will discuss their experiences at Cornell. Hear about the off-campus study programs in Rome and Washington, DC, from people who attended them. Find out how you can be the next editor of The Cornell Policy Review or the director of the Point of View show. Visit Collegetown with a group of Fellows one evening. Visitors for this event also have the option of staying with a current Fellow during their visit.
Arrange for a Personal Visit to Campus
If our spring Open House date doesn't work for you, we would be happy to arrange an individual visit day that better suits your schedule. To set up a productive itinerary for your visit, we ask that you provide us with at least two-week's notice before your anticipated arrival. We also need you to provide us with some information about your specific interests, so that we can determine which classes to have you visit and which faculty and staff to have you meet. If you have time, we will also arrange for a group of current CIPA Fellows to go to lunch with you, so that you can hear about the program first-hand from those whose interests are similar to your own.
